Setting up Rational DOORS 9.3 Server

We are in the process of setting up DOORS 9.3 Server, we wanted to know if we can we have Rational DOORS Client, Database Server, DOORS Web Access Server and Rational DOORS HP QC Interface all setup on One Machine which will finally act as a DOORS Server??

Also the the installation Document for Rational DOORS Web Access says that we should have DOORS InterOperation Server to be setup for DOORS Web Access. I wanted to know, if we have already installed DOORS Client, should we again install the Interoperation Server for DOORS Web Access??

Thanks in Advance!!

I can speak to the DWA aspects of your questions. You can have DOORS and DWA on the same server. If it's a Windows platform, you can also have the DOORS client installed (and you should, IMO). On the Windows platform, if the DOORS client is already installed, you don't need to install a separate Interoperation Server, as the Interop Server on Windows is a DOORS client -- it just runs in headless mode, using the command from the DWA Install Guide.

Hope this helps,

Arllen

Not sure about 9.3 but I have DOORS 9.2 server, client, DWA 1.3, and the HP integration all installed on my VM. They work fine. As Arllen points out, the interop server piece is just DOORS client with modified parameter.

Thanks arllen and denny for your reply. This should really be helpful in our migration.
